Breakfast at Clinton St Baking and a special treat for Moms

Still thinking about this morning breakfast... Not my usual green smoothie on the go! Today was a very Southern American comfort food kinda morning... Hello Clinton Street Baking Company.  It's definitely a treat! A very yummy treat  that I would not recommend too often. Calorie intake equal disaster! But very much worth it.

I ordered Eggs Benedict with crab cakes and avocado on biscuits. It was well prepared: runny eggs, tasty feelings, smooth sauce and warm crumbly biscuits. My friend managed to resist the temptation and ordered the very lean and healthy Power Plate. Brewed coffee and award winning deliciously fluffy blueberry pancakes to follow.

What you will love about this true New York franchise is the use of mainly locally sourced produce, organic eggs and chickens. Soul food freshly made  in a friendly casual atmosphere. You must check out the bakery section, lots of cakes, pies, muffins and the famous Niel's biscuits.
