Welcome! My name is Emily. I am a blogger (and maman of Luella 10 and Josefin 5) behind this sunny little place on the web, called Dubai our Sandbox. Since 2011, I have been on a mission to explore family friendly UAE destinations, work with new homegrown business, browse online, check magazines, talk to mums and girlfriends, be on the lookout for kids 'goodies' to share with you. I hope to bring even more useful and inspiring little finds for your family life in Dubai with this new version of Dubai our Sandbox. Lifestyle, travel and family blog, Dubai our Sandbox is an informative and inspirational destination for modern mamas.

I love and embrace motherhood while trying to keeping a sense of self, which is a difficult balance for most of us. Behind every mother there is a woman first. So, I also share my little finds on wellness, style, travel, homestyle and all things that includes our favourite little people.

I am from France, I have lived in Dubai on and off since 1995. Dubai is our home away from home, where I am raising two girls with my Swedish husband. I started Dubai our Sandbox as a creative outlet, when I was a first time mum and did not go back to my job as a designer. I have a BA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design NY. I enjoy writing (despite english not being my first language) and I love working with photography. This combination took me into editorial design, communication design, blogging and social media.

This is version 2.0 of Dubai our Sandbox and I can’t wait to roll into it and connect with our Dubai community and like minded mamas. Dubai (and beyond)  is our playground, come play with us!
