Something "Fraiche" to try in JLT

This week, I ventured all the way down to JLT, out of my "comfort zone" for the launch of Fraiche.
The newly opened Café and Bistro is a good mix of Brooklyn warehouse vibe withe french Parisian twist. But it's actually French-Canadian. Loved the brick wall, industrial lights and simple no fuss wooden seating creating a warm atmosphere.
We were served a sample of canapes representative of the menu like Charnwood Smoked Cheddar serve with home-made tomato chutney, roasted chicken breast with cranberry, risotto in Parmesan wraps, all very tasty. On the menu you can find a selection of starters, salads, sandwiches, mains and sides. I would love to try the beetroot carpaccio, ox cheek cottage pie, the crepes suzette and and lemon meringue specially. I think, the success behind Fraiche will be in the home-cooked feel with a twist. Another good breakfast and lunch option to the Dubai scene. I look forward to come back to try out the breakfast on a Friday.
