Ossigeno, big bite of Italy for food lover

Last week, I was not feeling well and missed out on the launch of Ossigeno, the stylish Italian restaurant in Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort and Spa. I sent my little spies, my guest bloggers J and K to check it out for us… Not disappointed, the lovely ladies loved it!

They experienced the new menu from Italian Chef Amedeo, who has created an impressive sharing menu, featuring a range of dishes which embrace the flavours and simplicity of authentic Italian cuisine.

From refreshing Aperol Spritzer or Proseco with antipasti  designed as sharing dishes. Embracing the true Italian style of family dining and allowing guests to enjoy as many tastes of Italy as possible. It's a great way to get into the food in a very friendly manner.

Main dishes are also very appealing like Double Boned Lamb Chops with Vegetable Caponata, Fish Stew “Livornese Style” with Tomato, Garlic, Chilli and Vegetables as well as the Spice Marinated Grilled Prawns with Fennel, Broccoli and Orange Salad. Probably my choice would go for the Homemade Pasta with Lobster, Chili, Parsley, Garlic and Cherry Tomatoes or the Risotto with Porcini Mushrooms and Black Truffle Sauce, For pizza lover, no worries, the menu offer some nice options like Norma pizza with tomato sauce, eggplant, mozzarella salted ricotta, basil and olive oil.

Let's not forget desert like Limoncello Tart with Raspberry Sauce and Chocolate Drops. Heard it was a successful delightful little bite. The tiramisu might be the only downer but my little spy is tiramisu pro, so expectation are high! :)

I will go make a point to go myself and try out the Ossigenos’ brand new fresh and exciting sharing menu.
