Classic revisited: Christian Lacroix + Petit Bateau

A new collaboration is about to hit the shopping sphere... Christian Lacroix + Petit Bateau. + Palais Garnier opera house, a mini capsule collection for women and their "mini me". It’s part of a five-piece mini collection that comprises a striped dress, skirt and top for women and an equally adorable mini-Breton top and dress for girls, inspired by – in the words of Monsieur Lacroix himself – ‘a combination of little boats, the sea and fresh air, the Palais Garnier opera house, the ballet and operatic arias’.

I always loved little breton t-shirts, a classic white and navy cotton stripes top. This time Lacroix has injected his famous touch of colour with new shades of purple, coral, fuchsia, and a touch of gold, as well as pretty velvet bows.

Available from 6 December 2013, in a selection of Petit Bateau stores, on www.petit-bateau.fr and at the Palais Garnier opera house in Paris. It's perfect gift idea for Christmas and New Year, a mixture of summer and winter, with a magnificent theatre as a gift box.
