Stockholm i mitt hjärta... (in my heart)

Our summer holidays have started with our first stop in Sweden from the lovely beach of Skane (south of Sweden) to the beautiful charming capital.

If you ever visit the capital of Scandinavia with children, make sure to check out Junibacken. This fairytale house in Stockholm is home to the wonderful world of children's books. Dedicated to the fantastic Swedish Author Astrid Lindgren and other children's authors / illustrators, Junibacken is inspired by scenes and characters founds in books like Pippi Longstocking. Junibacken is not a simple museum, it's a very well design interactive environment for the family to experience. Junibacken is on a mission to ensure that books remain an important part of children culture through interactive play and discovery.

Don't miss the Story Train, the enchanting journey through Astrid Lindgren storybooks. The Story Square with all it's fun characters and Villa Villekulla where children can play in Pippi's kitchen, dress up, ride the horse, slide down the roof…
