Fairy garden project

This is one of those really lovely project to do with the kids... It's creative, whimsical and close to nature. I love it! I can't wait to start gathering all the things we need to start our "Fairy garden"!

What is a fairy garden? It's a miniature garden with added touches that give the appearance of tiny creatures residing in the garden. Little girls are fascinated with the ideas that fairies live among us and have the power to spread magic throughout our homes and gardens.

Luella and I will start by gathering miniature objects, toys animals, shells, stones. Followed by a trip to purchased some potting soil, flowers and plant. We also need to find the "container" for our garden. With all this in mind we can start "designing" our magical sanctuary with water feature, paths and cottage. It's all about having fun, fairy garden ideas are only limited by your own imagination. You can also change the fairy theme to dinausore park or farmland for the boys. Limitless!
