This week I had the opportunity to meet well known parenting coach and founder of Monsters to Munchkins: Super Granny, Andalene Salvesen. Highly respected for her guidance and expertise, she travels the world as a speaker, parenting coach and is the author of two parenting books: " A Brand New Child in 5 Easy Steps " and "  Raising Happy, Healthy Children: A Practical Guide to Parenting and Nutrition".

The event held at super cute Sophie's café on Palm Jumeirah brought together some lovely ladies from mommies to bloggers to media. A lovely interactive and informative breakfast, about Super Granny inspiring method and insight on raising children and being an empowered parent. Andalene addressed issues such as tantrums, creative rewards and punishments, homework, healthy diet and empowering yourself as a parent. I also had a quick talk about my 6 weeks old baby Josefin, she was so helpful just within minutes with a brief reassuring conversation. I definitely can see how efficient and beneficial it could be to have her for a 3 hours home visit.

Thanks to Big On Children, Super Granny is now in Dubai to help families through coaching them, by personally assisting parents through tantrums, sleeping, eating and discipline problems in the privacy of their own home.The Exciting collaboration will see more of Super Granny in the UAE, thanks to the children’s store. So if you are struggling with your children, want to be a better parent, looking for answers on how to raise a healthy child through discipline and a healthy diet - look no longer. Andalene has now taken on the role as Big On Children’s Super Granny and will therefore visit the UAE with more frequency, thus expanding her talks and home visits.
